WBMu v.1 released

Hello,

finally we’ve done through testing of first WBMu version. First season completed without any errors, so i decided to release it public.

This update is based on 42’s update 1.9 so you’ll get everything that was done there +

• Bulgarian league,
• Czech league,
• Estonian league,
• Latvian league.
• New Turkish cup
• New schedules for NKL BBL and LKL teams.

Update works with 1.8.2 and 1.8.4 versions of game.

To play with update, just replace your big.wbmgame file (by default in c:\program files\world basketball manager 2008\db\) with file you donwload.

Sorry for delay…

Hi everyone,

We’re sorry but our WBMu patch is delayed again. When we tested it, we encountered some unexpected problems. We are trying hard to solve them but because of lack of free time, works are going slowly.

Delay of WBMu patch

Sorry for delaying to release our first official patch release. I’ve been busy for some personal reasons, hades still on his Way of the warrior in University :) , so testing doesn’t go as fast as we wish.

I’ve been testing now update with Czech, Bulgarian, Estonian, Latvian leagues, new format Turkish cup and Lithuanian competition for relegation/promotion from/to NKL/LKL. Everything goes fine for now, so if this weekend we won’t find errors, our first patch FINALLY will reach your computers.

Beside that hades told me that he found an error with Eurocup qualification in season 2008/2009 and it is weird, because i didn’t encounter this error. Hades will test again, and we’ll see if there is something bad.

Plans

Yesterday hades rescued my life by sending me files for completing Serbian league. Actually, it was known bug for developers, so they made a query patch to make it possible play two regular seasons in one league. So in near future i’ll finish all adriatic tables. It will include:

Full season for 16 Serbian league teams with two regular seasons, 5 games semifinals and 5 games finals

Full season for Slovenian, Bosnian, Croatian leagues (with their real competition system)

Full season Adriatic league with it’s real competition system

I’ll start to update these leagues teams (hades already almost updated Bosnian teams, but due his duty in university he’ll finish it later) and then we’ll release second version of WBMu.

This weekend i’ll upload for public purposes our first version of updates which will include Chezh, Latvian, Estonian and Bulgarian leagues, Turkish Cup, Lithuanian Cup, also all other updates (updated BBL, updated LKL, ULEB Cup and more) i made before.
By the way, there is a good news for owners of 1.8.4 version of game, because it is now compatible with database of version 1.8.2 which we are using as basement for this update.

i’ve finished testing beta version of updates and it works just ok. There were no errors, so i’ll release it soon.

On the other hand i have huge problems with Adriatic league and domestic leagues compatibility. I’ve created several Serbian league’s modes and can not even start it. My head is going to explode and family would left me, so i’ll take a break for a week or two. :)

What am i trying to do is to create FULL Adriatic league (14 teams regular season) with FULL domestic leagues (for example 16 teams Serbian league regular season). I’ve founded place for game dates, it is not a problem anymore. The problem i couldn’t pass is two regular seasons mode like in real. When in first phase plays ten teams which don’t participate in Adriatic league, later two first teams go to second phase where waits six teams which played in Adriatic league (yeah, six, not five. There is no Montenegro in this game).

Well, it is a bad news. Good news is that i corrected Baltic league’s, LKL and NKL league’s timetables. Now it is possible to create Lithuanian cup.
