1.3.6 versions of update

Due to unknown reason “empty” id’s were left in previous versions of update’s tPlayer and tTeam tables. Old editor  ddn’t work with 1.3.5 version because of this.

This version has been corrected from this error, also dozens of players were corrected from wrong contract options.

Also corrected Russian league’s standings (CSKA plays now in EL not ChallengeCup :) )

New version of update

here is a new version of update for WBM 09 version (due to technical issues, currently wbm08 version is not available).

this template has changed ltu league with new teams (but fake rosters), also changed russian league and players nationalities. I hated to see that after 3 season neither Lietuvos Rytas neither Zalgiris has no lithuanian players.

wbm euro 2009 update

New update for a new Icehole’s mini game  - WBM Euro 2009 is ready for using.

What’s done:

• reset of players morale (no more shaken morale players in Euro2009)
• reset of players form (no more exhausted players in Euro2009)
• reset of players mood in his club what makes his morale good, not shaken
• updated Lithuanian teams roster (better Jasaitis and worse Kleiza, for example)
• changed in-game control of players to be more useful (from my point of view). What’s been change it’s 2pts/3ts shot change to the NONE place. ANY SHOT changed to more useful INSIDE/2pts SHOT. Added ASSIST function, which changed ANY button. 

To use update you have to:

• back up all files from x:/your_install_of_the_game_directory/resources/db/
• back up all files from c:/users/computers_name/Documents/WBMEuro/DB/
• delete files from c:/users/computers_name/Documents/WBMEuro/DB/
• overwrite files in x:/your_install_of_the_game_directory/resources/db/ with the files you downloaded here

p.s. real name patch is already applyed in this patch.

WBMu v. 3.1.3

Hello today i’m releasing new STABLE and tested FOUR seasons version of WBMu. From now on it will be key version of WBMu which would be used for later updates if there would be such :)

changes in this version:

- corrected “empty” teams error which led to desktop crash on season two.

- [deleted ~30 duplicate players.]* this update would be in next version.

- corrected timetable bug. Dutch league’s game clashed with South American cup.

- edited all leagues DifficultyValues, most of them reduced to make a game closer to reality.

- edited “stars” of teams to look different

- edited experience adding query. Now it will add about 50% experience less for a player (made it because players experience grows too fast because of many tournaments they are playing in).

I’m releasing two versions at once. First version is standard version of WBM with corrected bugs i found and with made some corrections, which i think would make game more enjoyable.

Second one is with changed team in-game control. Now you have real possibility to set leader to assist. And you are not forced to have your guards to attack from inside if you just want them do everything except for that.

Hi everybody, hello hades if you’re reading this :D Proudly presenting you new version of updates. Thanks to outstanding job of Dzeris_Magvairas who himself updated nearly twenty league in one week. All updates are based on WBMu version 3.1.0 and it includes:

• LFK cup (Lithuanian Cup) (made by Manute_Bol)
• NKL league
• deleted ~2000 free agents to reduce loading time
• changed to 2008/2009 season schedule
• updated Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Germany, Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia, Serbia, France, Israel, Lithuania (thanks to konstantinas for updating rosters), Latvia, Estonia, Greece, Spain and Italy. Again, big thanks to Dzeris_Magvairas, there wouldn’t be this update if not his marvelous rosters updating job.
• Thanks to Dazzle now we have new rosters for NKL

WBMu v3.1.0 Beta

WBMu v3.1.0 Beta is ready now. It has been tested for 3 season without any errors. For installing this update, you have to extract this archive to the game folder. There was an error with previous file. I have fixed it and changed download link. Sorry for everybody downloaded the previous file.

New BETA release

I’m releasing new beta version 3.0.9 of wbmu which is stable and working. Now i simulate 2010 year, and will do it more one or two more seasons. Hades also has this database and will be testing it soon.

It has new Euroleauge system and new EuroCup system. Latvian league will have to wait until i’m ready to test it. Because, as i mentioned before i had strange bug with it and don’t want to waste my time again. Maybe later :)

After long (very long) hours of talking with numbers in db, i proudly announce about WBMu 2 release!

New Adriatic league:

Changed Serbian, Croatian, Slovenian leagues. Sorry all Serbian fans for deleting fake second league and Serbian Cup. It’s because i’m short in Serbian teams. Also sorry Slovenian fans, if there are any, because i couldn’t make their league as it is. I don’t know how 2nd and 3rd place teams plays in both domestic and Adriatic leagues at the same time. So i made in the same model like Serbia and Croatia or Bosnia.

Sorry, there will be no Montenegro team in the game, because there is no such country of Montenegro in the game. It is not my fault, just game’s engine isn’t updated. I hope that in WBM 2 there would be this country.

The game has been simulated for one season smoothly. Screenshots would come later.

I know that i promised to do more (better team control, friendly games for all teams and so on) but this updating takes huge amount of free time, so i have to “stop horses” for some time. I have many plans how i (or we) could update this game and i decided to release them separate from this really huge update, which took to prepare for release about two months from me. I’m not talking about hades, who’s working on leagues 25 hours in a day :)

So that’s my plans for the near future releases:

• Latvian league update (thanks maci maci for creating teams!) I know that this was promised to do long time ago, and i’ll try to update it as fast as possible.
• More possibilities to manage the team
• Friendly games for all European teams

Plans for autumn:

• Corrected estonian league schedule and more playoffs for them
• Corrected Lituanian league with new 11 teams format
• Corrected BBL league with new format
• New  EuroCup and Challenger Cup (hades sended me created tables without teams participating, but i even hadn’t look at it :( )
• European teams rosters update for season 2008-2009

WBMu v.1 released

Hello,

finally we’ve done through testing of first WBMu version. First season completed without any errors, so i decided to release it public.

This update is based on 42’s update 1.9 so you’ll get everything that was done there +

• Bulgarian league,
• Czech league,
• Estonian league,
• Latvian league.
• New Turkish cup
• New schedules for NKL BBL and LKL teams.

Update works with 1.8.2 and 1.8.4 versions of game.

To play with update, just replace your big.wbmgame file (by default in c:\program files\world basketball manager 2008\db\) with file you donwload.
